Bad weather is a drivers worst enermy. You could skid, you could be blinded, etc. I am going to talk about what to do during a fog. When there is a fog NEVER turn your high beams on. They will reflect and blinden you more. Instead, turn on your low beams. During fogs, your ability to judge distance and identify hazards is greatly decreased. To make up for this, slow down but don't slow down to much as someone may rear end you.
